Custom Imaging is one of the many advantages of renting large quantities of laptops, Desktops, and/or any other Office IT devices from Vernon Technology Solutions.

What is Custom Imaging?
When a computer is set up it has default programs, backgrounds, files, themes, etc. All of these make up a computer’s image. This Default image can be editted. Custom Imaging is the ability to edit these defaults and thereby create a customized image for the machines.

What is the purpose of Custom Imaging?
When you rent fifty computers and need all of them to have Microsoft Office for example, you have a choice, image MS Office onto all the machines or install it one by one on all fifty machines.
Now imagine you want MS Office, Photoshop, and a custom background, and more on one hundred or more computers. The time and labour to install would be huge!

Vernon Technology Solutions’ Custom Imaging Allows:
Clients can configure one computer in advance of an event and have us save their image before rolling it out on dozens, or hundreds of computers and notebooks.  Essentially saving the client’s IT staff countless hours of tedious configuration and updating.

The client has 2 options:
1. Vernon staff can collect a premade image that you have on one machine and transfer it over onto all other rental machines
2. The Client can tell Vernon representatives what is needed and the trained Vernon Staff will create and propogate the image.
