As a company that has a core function of Renting Computers, it is always nice to see articles like this.
This article is written by Amy NUtt and it describes why Renting is a good idea.

As a computer renter and reseller, My opinion on whether this article brings up good points is probably invalidated, but please read the article and I would love to hear comments on whether you think this is a good list of reasons.

Renting > Buying Reasons

1. No large lump sum to begin with. Only smaller manageable monthly payments.
2. Trade in for newer and better models, Obsoletion is very easy to fix.
3. Renting allows you to have the product for the amount of time you need it and then return it. Less unecessary storage and big payments for a product you willonly use a few times and then ignore.
4. More flexible payment terms
5. Warrenty last longer or gets renewed with new rentals.

For both Businesses and Individuals Renting does seem to have some great advantages and should definitly be looked into as an option for your next IT need.
