A recent Google search for Data Destruction will locate many different articles on many different topics.

One example is the recent loss of many GMail accounts which are currently being recovered. This is an example of data being stored on using Cloud Computing and an error making it inaccessible. This problem is being rectified and all the lost data is expected to be restored.

On the other end of the spectrum is the final ID card destruction from the Government in Essex. This is a destruction from which there will not be restoration.  This involved disk drives being magnetically wiped and then shredded to be sure that the data cannot be retrieved ever again. (more…)

Kermit the Frog is known for his quote of “Its not easy being green” but the world around us is adopting the Green mentality and trying to tell people over and over again, that being green can be easy!

There are many events and organizations worldwide that have events to promote green lifestyles and proper recycling techniques. And yet it seems people aren’t getting it. After becoming inspired, people seem to fall back very quickly into older habits. Green lifestyles do take effort and more then just a few inspirational events to get people going.
